Question: Is it possible to recover files that might have been "overwritten" by a file of the same name with your program?

Answer: Try the demo and see if you can find an older version of the file you are trying to recover. Ensure it is recent and about the right size. If the demo can find it there is a chance to recover it. There is no guarantee that the file will not have been overwritten since deletion.
