Question: What is the difference between Simple Scan and Advanced Scan?

Answer: The first step in UNDELETING files and folders is to scan the physical devices or hard drives.

To perform a drive scan Active@ Undelete program includes 2 scan types:

1. Simple Scan
2. Advanced Scan

Simple Scan is fast and basic scan type. Most of deleted files and folders would be found.

Advanced Scan is much slower and it processes whole drive's surface detecting ALL possible data being deleted.
