To make disk accessible for Active@ Partition Manager it needs to be initialized first by one of the following partition style:
To initialize physical disk select it in Partition Manager and click Initialize Disk command from toolbar or use command Initialize Disk command from context menu.

You can rollback these partition changes at any time by using Rollback Partition Changes feature.
